i learned my craft in solitude. just me, an offline illustrator file, and 99 bad ideas no one saw. I was ashamed of my process, but I needed that quiet to experiment + fail safely, before sharing design concepts with my boss. juniors today are in live Figma w/ 10 eyes watching. no space to be messy or try out that dumb idea. that matters.

my parents really wanted to name me Charlotte but the post-communist government said it was “too Western”and forced a “localized” version - Charlota. when I turned 15 my parents gave me the fee money to finally change the name before I get my first ID. I bought a ticket to music festival instead.
So I live as a typo between Charlotte and Carlota ever since.
