Someone is currently using an unpublished paper draft I worked on independently to attack Nous Research. For the record, I was only at Nous for ~2 months before leaving to spend more time with my wife who'd been recently hospitalized, & the majority of my work there is not public
The paper in question had no affiliation with Nous Research, and regardless is a withdrawn draft. People are of course free to criticize my work and how I present it however they see fit, but I ask that they refrain from using it to attack unrelated organizations.
I do my best to contribute to open-source LLM research by working on things that are useful to the community (repeng, logitloom, reasoning CoT forcing, Standard Completions, etc.) I don't have formal training as an academic, publishing papers doesn't come naturally to me,
so I can't point to a high h-index or long list of papers to justify what I do. However, my work has been used by many academics, and I'm happy to have contributed to their research in that (small) way, and I'm immensely appreciative of the people who have supported me in this -
Hyperplex / @lumpenspace , Nous Research, Prime Intellect, and New Science / @alexeyguzey But any mistakes are my own. Please do not attack organizations I've worked with over problems you see with my work. Thanks.
@airkatakana regardless, i'm not really interested in litigating the details of your internet slapfight, please delete the inaccurate posts about Nous Research
