Wife and I had a close call with a faceless stranger who abruptly approached us on a late night walk home in Princeton, NJ. Flagged down a Good Samaritan driving by who stopped to help and chased the guy off. What is the political/economic cost society is willing to pay to be able to walk our city streets without fear? Why do we tolerate this?
