Agglayer v0.3 mainnet is live. This security upgrade lays the groundwork for non-CDK chains to join, starting with Polygon PoS by the end of Q3. Chains can prove state and connect, securely and without rewriting architecture. Next stop: fast interop (sub 10-second crosschain transactions)
With this new upgrade, chains can prove state transitions cryptographically, even if they don’t share the same stack, consensus model, or bridge format. This adds a new safety check: ✅ Has the chain finalized its state? ✅ Were the blocks built correctly? Agglayer now supports chains proving internal behavior, not just balances. That’s a new level of trustlessness.
v0.3 means chains can connect to Agglayer as they are. First up: • Katana (CDK OP Stack) → with ZK execution proofs • Polygon PoS → Q3 with a custom proof of consensus And it’s just the beginning. Other popular chains can all follow suit 👀
Why this matters: Agglayer is now modular and flexible enough to support non-CDK chain architectures. Chains will look different, act different, and follow different rules. v0.3 embraces that. This is how interop scales: plug-and-play security, built to handle chains we haven’t even imagined yet.
v0.3 makes fast interop real: ⏱️ Sub-10s transactions 🔐 Trustless by default 🌐 Chain-agnostic at its core Agglayer v0.3 lays the foundation for a multichain world that feels like the Internet we know today.
The team of engineers is working hard and fast on shipping the next upgrade (v0.4) that will bring sub-10s, trustless interop into production. 🔜 Agglayer fast interop
