if Trump really is in the files you have to almost respect the sheer audacity of invoking them repeatedly during the campaign, then appointing a bunch of people to DoJ who talked about releasing them all the time, then pivoting to get people to believe they never existed or if they existed are Dem-planted fakes kind of insane when you think about it

i believe most people in that position would just avoid ever taking about the files- not use them as a campaigning point
