Modernity hates polarity. My guess is since it’s not controllable by the managerial class. We don’t like the super manly or super feminine. We don’t like the super rich or the super poor. We hate genius and heroism. We don’t want stories of horror, glory and insanity. We predict the future will be predictable and reasonable. In reality the world is fucking nuts and ignoring that element of it is insane. Things just kinda happen and you roll with it. Don’t get too caught up in it. Do your best.

Like I’ll say “they are evil”. Then someone will start quibbling about “well…well.. you missed this variable.” Then I’ll think “yeah. It’s still true though”. People can’t just accept things that are true for what they are. They lack chill vibes
