KQED CEO Michael J Isip needs to focus on truth in journalism instead of their biased Code of Ethics which justifies the opposite
KQED’s coverage of crime targeting Asian Americans was abysmal, especially all the propaganda in support of disgraced DA Chesa Boudin

The CEO of @KQED Michael J. Isip just sent me an email begging for money now that their Federal funding has been cut. He makes almost $600,000 per year by the way.
This is how things should work, people like NPR, PBS, KQED, and the @nytimes can beg for money and based on their past journalistic malpractice, I can say no and instead pay for premium+ on @X where I can get my news uncensored.
Crazy that KQED is trying to beg for money using the threat of "misinformation" and "disinformation" as their selling point. Glad my tax dollars are no longer going to prop them up.

Our local media has a duty to the people and the last ten years has shown consistently that legacy media in blue cities have chosen to abandon that duty
We are moderate Democrats who just want the Fourth Estate speak truth to power, not power to truth
Probably the most unfair thing they do consistently is publish as news the PR they get directly from the politicians they agree with, without comment from the actual sources with real knowledge

why is @KQEDnews’ framing so wildly favorable to Peskin? This is not an accurate representation of his or the Mayor’s views

The track record is too obvious
- Supporting Chesa Boudin
- Caring more about equity than teaching math
- Too often NIMBY
- Poor understanding of the fentanyl crisis (blanket support for harm reduction/housing first, minimal recovery/treatment)
The KQED newsroom needs reform
