So I won't make a long story out of it, but this is how my pc was taken over today. A friend on x asked me if I would like to take part in a podcast about art. I didn't think anything of it, he mentioned that they use StreamYard, which is actually normal, and that we would do a test session. He sent me an invite link, I clicked on it of course and then it downloaded something Almost 2 days later, I woke up in the middle of the night and saw that my bios light was on, which it shouldn't be, so I got suspicious and looked at x on my cell phone, which was of course logged out. They did the same thing in my dm's and wrote to people I cut off all internet access and reset everything. It's getting so stupid to trust anybody, I don't even answer when my mother calls me anymore
