Yeah they overbook every flight to make sure they get paid for every seat. Okay to get overpaid and refund. Also okay to simply penalize people for not selecting a seat in advance as a filter system. Happened to me for Accelerate. And no it’s not really okay. Airlines are a massive scam and the rules have actually changed. They use to not really be able to do this - but apparently now they can without recourse. Same exact line of shit too. Good luck man. This blows. We pay a premium to remove this from the stress of travel. Same thing with moving. Those mfers are massive scammers. No recourse. But blast their ass on X and they will give ya the “I’m sorry for the inconvenience- we at ——- aim to make all travelers have the best exp. Please DM your flight info and we will do everything we can to make sure we take care of you” Yeah mfer? Get me on the flight I paid for. Otherwise too late.
