A @mindzeye 🧵: I’ve been a fan of Michael’s work for a long time and The Undoing is one of those projects that reminds me why. The Undoing isn’t just four images stitched into a series. It’s a full story told through still frames, each one telling its own story, but together they complete a narrative. As a photographer, I know how much intention goes into every part of a scene. The way he uses light, color, and atmosphere here is masterful. You can see how carefully the shadows are pulled into the corners, how the glow from the windows creates contrast without overexplaining the scene. What I notice is how each frame captures that space between holding on and letting go. You can feel that tension in the way the subject moves through the scene. What stands out most to me is how he used the blockchain as part of the story instead of just a container for the images. These four photographs live independently, but they also rely on each other. Each frame is a moment, but together they build a narrative that feels cinematic and personal at the same time. It’s proof of what’s possible when photography and technology come together with real purpose. You can see how well thought out this project is by visiting the website where you can interact with the work. The mint opens with a suitcase. Inside, a camera and the photos. The website isn’t just four images and a mint button. It’s a full experience that makes you slow down and take all the work in. There are two editions left to mint. And honestly, it’s one of those projects I think people are going to wish they had paid more attention to.
