super quick read, but also quite thought provoking imagine every time gpt used some info/research you input, you made a tiny royalty now extrapolate that against all LLMs at large in the world quality contributions would be incentivized with a proof of provenance in place OpenAI would still make $, but to feed their engine your data, they “owe” you in perpetuity this kind of alignment would open up so much greatness imo slash bad info/training models poorly reward data (incentive or hell, even free got subscription for example) contribution in an economical way @campnetworkxyz is definitely on a very cool path with trying to make this happen have not put much thought into the economics behind it or the costs/differentials in a companies bottom line, but it does seem this would align solid data contribution and perhaps that incentive draws enough good data to be a other models/LLM? anyways, find this very fascinating and even more if done at scale
