One could argue it's a winless job, ultimately. But remember that Eric Adams entered the mayoralty with very broad based support. And then managed to lose just about all of it. Well before he started reaching out to the center right, and the phony prosecutions, etc.

It's a tough job. Politics is a snake pit, as @curtis_yarvin points out. But there's a skill to it too, and Eric Adams possesses none of that.

Mamadani is trading at 73% on @Polymarket -- pretty high odds given variance hurts the favorite. If nothing happens, expect those odds to creep up toward 90% closer to election day.
