As an Aussie who values freedom and liberty, it pains me to say this… We don’t hold freedom sacred like Americans do. We grumble about government overreach, but comply. We value comfort over courage and safety over sovereignty. When push came to shove, we locked down, masked up, and dobbed in our neighbours. Now they're slowly legislating away our tongues — deciding what we can read, hear, and say. We mock America’s fierce defence of individual rights — but maybe it’s time we asked ourselves why we gave ours up so easily? Freedom only matters if you’re willing to stand for it. And too often, we don’t.
