. @lkesteloot & I have done 30 blind taste tests, which we track in a doc. Some of my faves: 1. Are different M&M colors discernible by taste? No. 2. Does pasta need to be cooked in boiling water? Yes. If you just leave it in normal water until it's soft the texture is gross. 3a. Do more expensive wines taste better? No for me, possibly yes for Lawrence. 3b. One of the wines was secretly a white I dyed red. Lawrence did not suspect that it was the wrong color. 4. Do bay leaves do anything? Yes! We made 2 batches of soup and the bay leaf one was better. I was surprised by this, I always thought Bay leaves were kind of fake.
