Three years ago I sketched this on a back of an envelope. I had already drawn glyphs in the sky. What was next? I had no idea how to make it at first. Time passed, and a lot of experimentation to figure out my new approach. And then one night after many failed attempts, the aurora showed up, unannounced, unexpected, and enough to make me do something subtly different, and this is the result - my Siren series Vision first, then technique (and some serendipity) - in service to the vision, never the other way round. This for me is the beauty of photography and how I build my practice.
