did you ever try asking someone if they are happy, why they don't change job, their biggest source of suffering etc? turns out you can just ask people about their most deepest held secrets they have not even thought through themselves, and they will just respond

friends, strangers, uber drivers, everyone enjoy talking about it, have not thought these things themselves, and have never been asked this before but i guess if people aren't even curious about themselves why would you be curious about others
