Om städerna byggde fler bostäder: 1) Billigare bostäder skulle göra det möjligt för familjer i städerna att skaffa fler barn. 2) Fler människor skulle flytta till större städer och kulturellt påverkas att skaffa färre barn. Eftersom det krävs så mycket inkomst för att öka fertiliteten förväntar jag mig att den senare effekten är mycket större!

Since 75+% of Americans and Europeans are already urbanized the main movements wouldn’t be new rural -> urban but rather smaller -> bigger cities. But without NIMBYism big cities could be 2x or more bigger! See Tokyo, Seoul etc. So is NIMBYism significantly raising birth rates?
