When I was 12 I had a horrible accident, fell out of a tree, broke my neck and back. Recovery was horrible & drawn out. Years of both physical and mental therapy. My father passed while I was on my 4th year of recovery & I still wasn't walking. I almost gave up. I looked at the bottle of pills next to me, reached over and clutched them. I remember my hands we're trembling. I couldn't do it. Fast forward, I'm still here. Still strong. Still building a better life. As is with the rain, there is also sun. Life is amazing in that there are always things that surprise you & somehow outshine the darkest moments. One of those amazing things happened to me today. I wanted to give a huge shoutout to both @rasmr_eth and @orangie for doing this stream. When I saw this post pop up on my feed, it gave me the strength to stand up for the first time in 15 years, take my entire desktop computer & throw it out my fucking 3rd story window.
