people i disagree with are unfortunately very naive and stupid and always argue for policies and outcomes that are totally unrealistic and will never happen.

i must admit that my own beliefs also require several extremely unlikely things to happen. nevertheless, i hold them from the pragmatic, wise perspective of someone trying to move the conversation in that *direction*, knowing i will compromise

the main problem with the people i disagree with is that they earnestly try, and fail, and get mad about it, whereas i (genius; pragmatist) only *say* i want things, but actually would just be happy to see other people who say the same things as me win, in small ways
