Back in 2021, I was all in on the Sandbox Metaverse and got hired as creative director of a team of 20 artists to build experiences as a third party dev. I was not fully aware of most PFP projects as my focus was mainly on game development at the time. But suddenly my team had just got contracted by @yugalabs to build out the Miami 2035 experience in Sandbox as part of their Road Map. I felt it in me that I couldn't just build for a community and not also be a part of them. I wanted to better understand the people we were tasked to build for. So I took to the secondary markets and purchased a Bored Ape for almost 3eth. A price that I surely thought was overvalued. I felt a little weary paying several thousand for a Jpeg Ape. All of a sudden Apes started to rip, my investment was multiplying by the day. And suddenly I found myself building for what was becoming, one of the most iconic brands in the scene. I learned so much about game development, business, managing teams and so many other real world skills at lighting speed because of how quickly things were moving. I even had the amazing opportunity to meet with @beijingdou in the early days to better my social and business skills with some of his guidance. Fast forward 4 years, and I have grown an amazing relationship with Yuga. I found myself getting contracted for work by them year after year. And now in 2025 I am dedicated to building in @OthersideMeta as an ODK tester and game dev. Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing, even if it seemed risky at the time.
