Before diving full-time in to crypto, I was Head of Talent at a pretty well-known software company. There are three things that you must nail when hiring in crypto (or any industry for that matter) today. These traits combined allow you to create 10x people at will. If you manage to do this, everything about your business becomes an order of magnitude easier. Here's the list: 1) High agency - you must hire self-starters. Sounds ridiculously simple, but these people are really, really hard to find 2) 2) AI native and willingness to keep up with latest tools is a must. There's a beautiful synergy with 1) here and this is what allows these people to do so much more than folks that have neither 3) Trust. This is two-pronged, you must explicitly trust these people but you also need to trust them to own their respective verticals. This is the great magnifier, and without this the floor falls from beneath your feet Combine the three traits above and you have a pack of winners - and thus a winning company.
