In the last 24 hours, I learned that ppl: - really hate talking about salaries - can not deal with the fact that a handful of marketers are getting lucrative offers on par with other senior hires - everyone mad I have a personal brand - took me sharing salary info really, really personally, obviously hit a nerve 99% of marketers are still offered low pay and little to no equity tho we are in high demand and bring a lot to a project We should be paid fairly and I’m going to keep sharing what I know and see if it helps some ppl get better pay or have more visibility into their value I’m not a recruiter, this isn’t a proper qualitative process, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth talking about

If you have salary info - well paid, underpaid - share it. Talk about it. Only way to sort out where you fit in the markets
