This message (that cooking is too expensive, time-consuming, or outdated) is going to be pushed more and more in the coming years. They want to make cooking seem like it’s not worth your time. Like it is inconvenient, too expensive, or even “not masculine.” Why? Because it benefits a system that wants the working class to live in smaller apartments, with less time, more jobs, and more dependency. The lower class is already there (people working two jobs, with no time or energy to cook). The next step is to get the rest of us to give up on it too. If cooking becomes “uncool” or “inefficient,” they profit through food delivery apps, ultra-processed takeout, and even future housing where people rent micro-apartments with shared kitchens. Cooking is not just about food. It’s about control, independence, health, and tradition. Do not let them convince you to give that up.
