L3E7 recently completed a Web2 user acquisition test in North America. While we saw promising traction and retention performance, there’s still plenty of room for optimization. Over 7,000 players participated in this round (including both Web2 and Web3 users). We’re grateful for the valuable feedback from our core community and the recognition and suggestions from several industry veterans. These insights have directly shaped the direction of our next version. Here’s a quick look at what we’re currently improving: 1️⃣ Core Performance This was our first large-scale mobile test. We experienced some issues early on with lag and network instability, but we’ve since optimized performance across devices. Many players noted clear improvements by the latter stages of the test. 2️⃣ New Player Onboarding + Exploration Players told us that the “Territory Control” gameplay was deep and engaging in the mid/late game, but the early phase was a bit difficult to understand. We’re now redesigning the onboarding experience and introducing a GPS “Dark Zone” mechanic to encourage familiar and far-area exploration — especially to help Web2 newcomers ease into the world. 3️⃣ Combat Improvements We’re iterating on combat systems to make battles more fun, strategic, and accessible. Updates include improvements to auto-combat, co-op hunting, and round-based play. 4️⃣ UI/UX Enhancements We’re working on smoother interactions for systems like exclusive weapons, and improving the overall usability of core gameplay UIs. 5️⃣ iOS Support Yes — iOS players will be able to join in the next round! Data will be fully cross-platform and synced. We also want to thank the community for being vocal and honest — especially around the Pet System, which many expressed concerns about. We're taking this feedback seriously and are exploring a full redesign. In the future, we also plan to introduce Guild-based city zone PvP features to make the world feel even more alive. This test also highlighted areas for improvement in our ad creatives and conversion rates in North America. Once the above gameplay modules are improved, we’ll launch our next Web2 user acquisition campaign in Japan, focusing on localized creatives and retention performance. We’ve already partnered with a professional Japanese team to ensure high-quality translations and market fit. At L3E7, we believe true Web3 success is built on solid Web2 foundations. We don’t fake data. We don’t buy fake users. We optimize based on real feedback and real players — and we’re building this game the right way. (the attached image is just a concept render — it shows part of the optimized character creation screen. The final version will feature a dynamic background, and some of the copy and design details are still being refined.)
