Many times, the anxiety and confusion in life stem from having overly high expectations of ourselves. When we fail to meet those expectations, we feel disappointed, frustrated, and anxious. In reality, we don't need to have such high expectations of life: take each step as it comes, and don't hang a lofty goal over your head. When things haven't happened yet, we are in a state of extreme internal conflict. Never think about what will happen two hours later or eight kilometers away; don't aim too high and set unrealistic goals. As ordinary people, we should focus on living a stable life and expanding our spiritual world, as long as we are gradually improving. Don't overly deny yourself, don't accept the world's denial of you, and definitely don't self-deny. When we are young, we often find ourselves in a contradictory state due to experiences in life and changes during growth, wanting to succeed but lacking confidence and fearing failure. However, by broadening our horizons through reading, enhancing our wisdom, and enriching our knowledge, we can truly reduce this internal conflict.
